Offering professional and high quality college consulting services, UK Writings also recognizes that financial stresses can be a huge burden on many students, and we want to do our part to assist in easing this stress as well. That is why we have chosen to launch our scholarship program, in order to help students more easily seek out and achieve their entrepreneurial endeavors.
This program is open to all students across the United Kingdom, United States and Australia with the aim of supporting students venturing into the world of entrepreneurship.
Getting started in the entrepreneurial realm can be a daunting endeavor, intimidating in so many ways. Easing at least some of the financial burdens associated with education and entrepreneurship can make the transition into that world a little bit easier, at least on some level.
Doing our part to help students throughout the UK, US and Australia means we're able to give those most promising new entrepreneurs the financial boost they are in need of to get themselves started. We're incredibly proud to be a part of the entrepreneurial journey that these students are about to embark on and to be able to help make the visions they see for their futures come to life in reality.
How to Qualify
- In order to apply for consideration for this scholarship program, you must be a student at a recognized higher learning institution in the UK, the US or Australia, and you need to be registered in an undergraduate or postgraduate program.
- All applicants for this scholarship must demonstrate their leadership skills and show a clear and passionate entrepreneurial attitude.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate the need for financial support in their entrepreneurial pursuits.
What is required to apply
It's actually quite simple to apply for this scholarship program. After you ensure you have got all of the qualification requirements listed above, you will also need to provide us with the following:
- A copy of your acceptance letter from the university or college you have chosen to attend.
- An essay, 700 words in length, that outlines how this scholarship would assist you in working towards achieving your entrepreneurial endeavor. There is no set structure that's required. Simply tell us why you feel that you're deserving of this award and how you would use the award money.
How applications are assessed
After your application is received, it will be carefully considered by our assessment committee, who will look for and examine these items:
1. Academic eligibility
2. Demonstrated entrepreneurial passion
3. How financial support would be of benefit
Award value
We'll award up to 10 scholarships of $850 to those applicants who have met all of the requirements, and have clearly shown their unequivocal entrepreneurial passion and potential. Scholarships awarded can be used towards furthering educational advancements.
How to apply
The deadline for candidates to apply in order to be considered for the 2017-2018 scholarship program is by August 31, 2017. The Scholarship is annual (new deadlines will be updated accordingly). Send your application to contact[at]ukwritings.com.
